Scent & Other Allergies

We have students and staff here at IRHS who have severe allergies, asthma and sensitivities. We are asking for your continued cooperation with our scent awareness initiatives.

For the safety of students and staff with severe allergies, asthma and sensitivities, please be advised that IRHS is a scent aware school. We ask students, parents and visitors to please refrain from wearing scented personal products, heavy detergents and no perfume or cologne any time you visit us.

It is especially important that students not wear or bring perfume, aerosol sprays, cologne, aftershave, or other scented products to school. Use only unscented personal care products, such as deodorant. Spray/ aerosol products (sunscreen and hairspray), latex balloons and nail polish are also prohibited.

We have students who have allergies at our school and this is a reminder of the following food allergies. We would like for all parents to inform their children of the following allergies at our school. Please refrain from bringing the following food items into school. If an allergy is overlooked, please contact the school administration asap.

Peanuts, Tree nuts, Fish (All types including fin and shellfish)
